Hempcare was formed to introduce the consumer to fine hemp products produced in Western Australia.
Being a nutritionist and Life Coach I am aware of the need for quality products that make staying fit and healthy an easier option.
Using Hemp seed products and oil provides the body with a high quality protein/carbohydrate/good fat blend. Researchers are finding Essential fatty acids are the missing link for many health conditions, especially Diabetes, Heart Disease, Inflammatory conditions, and even conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis. More on this in later editions of the Health Report.
It is because hemp oil contains an abundant source of the Essential Fatty Acids Omega 3 & 6 & GLA that people find these oils relieve inflammation and blood lipid disorders.
If applied externally, the goodness of the oil penetrates the skin and may be used for improving the moisture content of skin and for repair of damage to cells caused by U.V. rays, sun & wind.
Hempcare produced an exotic range of skin and body care products to nourish your body and soul. They contained only the best, universally recognised safe ingredients. The synthetic/petroleum based cosmetic bases for products are cheaper and "feel and smell" the way the consumer has come to expect such as lots of lather in shampoo which actually strips the hair shaft.
This range was to complement a nourishing range of foods that contained hemp seed oil. Unfortunately, although given the health tick by ANZFA the ministerial board voted against hemp as a food.
Of course we all doubt the reasons given by the ministers for their decision. Whatever their reasons they hold the power and I made the decision that it is not feasible to pursue "hemp for health" at this time.
